About the Role:

KUMMUNI is looking for a skilled Server Specialist to manage and maintain our dedicated servers. In this part-time role, you will ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of our server infrastructure. Your primary focus will be on monitoring server performance, troubleshooting issues, and performing regular updates and backups to keep our systems running smoothly.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong technical expertise in server management who enjoys a flexible, part-time schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain KUMMUNI’s dedicated servers to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Troubleshoot server-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Perform routine maintenance, including software updates, patches, and backups.
• Ensure the security of dedicated servers by implementing necessary updates and configurations.
• Collaborate with the IT team to support other server-related operations and performance improvements.
• Assist with capacity planning and optimizing server performance based on company needs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing dedicated servers and server infrastructure.
• Strong technical skills in Linux server environments.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong communication skills in both English and German.

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Attention to detail, especially in maintaining the security and performance of dedicated servers.
