KUMMUNI Boost Terms and Conditions

By applying for the KUMMUNI Boost pro bono program, applicants agree to the following terms and conditions. These guidelines ensure that only eligible businesses aligned with KUMMUNI’s values and standards benefit from this initiative, while providing value to KUMMUNI’s community.

1. Eligibility Requirements

• Location and Age: The business must be located in Germany and have been established within the last seven years.
• Purpose and Nature of Business: KUMMUNI Boost is designed to support immigrant-founded businesses offering meaningful and ethical products or services to the public. Businesses focused on get-rich-quick schemes, pyramid schemes, or similar models are ineligible.

2. Exclusion Criteria

• Sufficient Marketing Budget: Businesses with a substantial marketing budget or resources are not eligible for KUMMUNI Boost. This program is reserved for businesses with limited or no marketing budget.
• Philosophical and Moral Alignment: Businesses that do not align with KUMMUNI’s philosophy or moral standards will not be considered.
• Political Neutrality: Businesses supporting or endorsing specific political parties or agendas are not eligible. KUMMUNI remains strictly non-partisan and neutral.
• Customer Care and Public Feedback: Businesses with a history of consistent, substantiated customer complaints indicating neglectful service are ineligible. Negative reviews deemed unfair or isolated will not disqualify a business.

3. Application Process and Selection

• Application: Businesses must submit a complete application form, accurately detailing their offerings, achievements, and budget. Claims of achievements, quality, or special recognition will undergo verification for accuracy.
• Review Process: KUMMUNI’s team will review applications based on eligibility and alignment with program goals. KUMMUNI reserves the right to accept or deny applications at its sole discretion.

4. Content Creation and Fair Representation

• Content Independence: KUMMUNI’s reviews are created independently, without influence from the business owner, to ensure fairness and value to both KUMMUNI’s audience and the business.
• Fact-Checking: Any claims made by the business about achievements, quality, or other aspects will be fact-checked for accuracy and reliability. KUMMUNI is committed to providing unbiased, accurate information that benefits the community and reflects the business’s authentic value.

5. Community Offers and Written Agreements

• Optional Offers: While participation in KUMMUNI Boost is entirely pro bono, businesses may voluntarily offer special services or discounts to KUMMUNI’s tenant community. Such offers must be formalized in a written agreement to ensure that tenants are fully protected.
• Newsletter Communication: Any tenant-specific offers will be shared via KUMMUNI’s newsletter, which is sent only occasionally to highlight genuinely beneficial opportunities for the community.

6. Program Benefits

• Accepted businesses will receive a feature on KUMMUNI’s website, including a backlink, and may be highlighted in KUMMUNI’s tenant-focused newsletter if applicable.
• KUMMUNI reserves the right to modify or terminate program benefits as needed, based on evolving program needs.

7. Privacy and Confidentiality

• Information submitted to KUMMUNI for the Boost program will remain confidential and be used solely for determining eligibility and providing program benefits.

8. Termination of Participation

• KUMMUNI reserves the right to terminate a business’s participation in KUMMUNI Boost if eligibility requirements are no longer met or if these terms and conditions are violated.

9. Amendments

• KUMMUNI may amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will take effect upon posting on the KUMMUNI website.

By applying to KUMMUNI Boost, businesses acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions. Failure to comply may result in disqualification from the program.
