Yes, it is possible for someone else to complete the handover process on your behalf, but certain conditions must be met to ensure everything is handled properly and securely.
Requirements for a Representative to Complete the Handover #
If you cannot attend the handover in person, you can appoint someone else to do it for you. However, the following steps must be taken:
- Power of Attorney:
The person representing you must have a valid power of attorney document. This document must either be sent to us in advance or presented in person by your representative at the time of the handover. The power of attorney should be written in an official manner, including your signature, and clearly state the authority you are granting to your representative. - Advance Notification:
It is crucial that you inform KUMMUNI in advance if someone else will be handling the handover on your behalf. If we are not notified prior to the handover, we cannot proceed with the handover process. - Document Verification:
When your representative arrives for the handover, our agent will ask them to present the power of attorney document. This document will be scanned and attached to the handover protocol for official records. - ID Verification:
To ensure accuracy and prevent any mistakes, your representative will be required to present a valid ID card. This step helps confirm their identity and their authority to act on your behalf.
Important Considerations #
Please note that once your representative signs the handover protocol on your behalf, it is considered final, and no complaints or disputes will be accepted afterward. Therefore, it is important to choose someone you trust to carefully review the condition of the property and ensure everything is accurately documented before signing.
