We offer three different payment methods:
- Online via Strip
- Bank wire
- SEPA Mandate
Online payments: #
Our online payment services offer a convenient way to make your first rent or administrative fee payment in order to book an apartment or to complete a booking. You can also use this method for any additional payments that may be required.
To make a payment, simply login to the myKUMMUNI app. Once logged in, navigate to your myKUMMUNI account and select “Make a Payment.”
Important note about Stripe payment: #
Tenants who wish to make their rent payments through Stripe will be responsible for covering the transaction fee. Stripe charges a fee of 1.4% for European cards and 2.9% for non-European cards. To illustrate, let’s consider a scenario where the monthly rent is 1000 euros. If you choose to pay with a European card, you will need to initiate a payment of 1014.46 euros, which includes the transaction fee. On the other hand, if you opt to use a non-European card, the payment amount will be 1030.30 euros, again accounting for the transaction fee.
Bank wire #
We have two separate bank accounts for your convenience. One is designated for rent and admin fees, while the other is specifically for security deposits. When making a bank transfer, please ensure that you are transferring the required amount to the correct account. It is important to note that your deposit should NOT be transferred to our “rent” account.
SEPA: #
SEPARATE is exclusively available to tenants with a German bank account. Unfortunately, we cannot offer this option to those without one. To be eligible for this payment method, tenants must sign the SEPA mandate.
