KUMMUNI offers facility support to its tenants, ensuring their needs are met even when they are not present at their apartments. Whether you are away on vacation or simply unable to be at your apartment, KUMMUNI’s facility support team is available to assist you. However, in order to grant our staff access to your place when you are not present, it is necessary to follow a legal procedure.
- To begin the procedure, please visit the grand or revoke permission application and enter a valid email address. Our system will then send you a random link. This link will allow you to start the procedure.
- Fill out the requirements
- Enter the entry ID to verify your identity. To find the entry ID, locate the confirmation email for your facility support request. The ID can be found at the beginning of the email subject or within the email itself. Entry ID is an essential proof for identification purposes. It allows us to verify your information accurately. Additionally, our customer service team is readily available to assist you throughout the process. - When granting access to your place in your absence, it is important to establish a reasonable duration. The shortest duration that can be considered is 24 hours. However, if you believe that a longer period of time is necessary, please feel free to extend it accordingly. It is crucial to ensure that the duration allows for the completion of necessary tasks or activities while maintaining the security and privacy of your place.
- You can now sign the necessary forms digitally. Whether you prefer using a mouse, trackpad, or the touch screen on your smartphone or tablet, the process is simple and convenient.
- Our colleagues will reach out to you if needed to confirm that you have been granted access.
If you need to deny access to our staff during your absence, please contact our facility department, your agent, or customer service at least 24 hours in advance. It is important to note that granting access to your place is contingent upon your permission and can be revoked if necessary.
In order to complete the application for granting KUMMUNI access to your place you need to agree to the terms and conditions mentioned below:
- You hereby give permission to the facility department of KUMMUNI to enter your apartment/room in your absence to resolve the issue. You understand that if you are available during the visit, it is your responsibility to inform KUMMUNI. You are aware that cancellation right before the appointment might not be possible.
- By checking the box “I agree to the terms”, you are granting access to your place in your absence for the designated appointment. It is important to note that this agreement is only valid for the specified appointment and does not grant ongoing access.
- If you wish to revoke this permission, you must inform KUMMUNI at least 24 hours before the appointment. Failure to do so may result in the appointment proceeding as scheduled. You can use the same application to revoke this permission.
- Please be aware that while KUMMUNI takes all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of your place, the tenant is responsible for keeping their valuable items secure during their absence. Lastly, it is important to note that this form must only be submitted by the individual who owns the place and not on behalf of someone else.
- Our team is allowed to access the common area based on § 15(2) with a prior request from the tenant. In case there is more than one tenant mentioned in the rental contract, permission from just one party is sufficient.
- If you are requesting service during your absence for an area that is not listed as a common area, you will state that the other person(s) mentioned on the rental contract has been already consulted and you have obtained their permission. By submitting this request you will act on their behalf of them and you will accept full responsibility for any potential conflict.
- When filling out the granting access form on KUMMUNI.com, users should be aware that certain information is collected for security reasons. This includes the user’s IP address and unique ID. It is important to note that this information will not be shared with any third party.
- This online application contains content that can serve as a legal document. Users should be aware that any information provided or actions taken within this application may have legal implications. It is important to the tenant’s duty to carefully review and understand the terms and conditions before using this application.
- In this context, the terms “user” and “tenant” are used interchangeably to refer to the same person.
