At KUMMUNI, we take your data privacy seriously and provide clear options for managing and deleting your personal information. Here’s how you can delete your data from our servers:

Understanding Where Your Data Is Stored #

1. Web Servers:
   Only part of your data is stored on our web servers, such as information provided during account creation or when building a profile on KUMMUNI.com. This includes:
   • First name
   • Surname
   • E-mail address
   • Password (encrypted)
   • Phone number

   If you have created a profile on KUMMUNI.com, additional data might be stored, such as:

   • Profile picture
   • Date of birth
   • Job title
   • Company
   • Tax number
   • Nationality
   • City/Town
   • Country
   • URL of your social accounts
   • Short Bio
2. Critical Information Storage:
   Crucial data such as a copy of your ID card, passport, or similar documents are stored on a different and local secure server. These documents are only stored if you have an active rental contract with KUMMUNI. If you do not have a contract, such critical information is not stored on our servers.

Deleting Your Data #

1. No Contract with KUMMUNI:
   If you do not have a rental contract with KUMMUNI, we do not store critical information such as your ID card or passport. In the event your application is rejected, any uploaded documents will be deleted from our servers within 30 days from the date of rejection.
2. Deleting Profile and Account Data:
   The data stored on our web servers, such as your profile information, can be deleted irreversibly and immediately by deleting your “myKUMMUNI” account. This action will remove all your profile data from our servers.

How to Delete Your Data #

To delete the data mentioned above, follow these steps:

1. Log In to Your myKUMMUNI Account:
   Go to KUMMUNI.com and log in to your myKUMMUNI account.
2. Delete Your Account:
   Navigate to “My Profile” and scroll to the bottom of the page. Here, you will find the option to delete your account. By deleting your account, all associated data stored on our web servers will be permanently removed.

Important Considerations #

• Residual Data on Search Engines:
  After deleting your account, some of your data, such as a profile picture, might still appear on search engines temporarily. This is beyond KUMMUNI GmbH’s control and should resolve over time.
• Irreversible Deletion:
  Once your account and data are deleted, this action is irreversible. Ensure that you no longer need access to your account before proceeding.
