No, it is not possible to install your own internet service at a KUMMUNI property. Doing so would be considered a breach of your rental contract. The internet service is either already provided by KUMMUNI or will be installed shortly after your move-in. Tenants are not permitted to enter into their own internet contracts for the property, as this can lead to significant complications.
Why Personal Internet Installation Is Not Allowed #
- Single Connection Per Household:
Each household can have only one internet connection. If a tenant independently installs their own internet service, it can prevent KUMMUNI from setting up the connection we provide. This is because many internet providers will not allow a second line to be installed at the same address, leading to service conflicts. - Potential Issues:
In the rare cases where the internet is not immediately available upon your arrival and you decide to take out your own contract, it would prevent us from installing our provided service until your contract period ends. This can result in long-term inconvenience for both you and any future tenants.
About KUMMUNI’s Internet Service #
KUMMUNI partners with Vodafone Business Center and Telekom to provide internet access as a complimentary service to all tenants. The minimum service offered is 50 MB DSL or Wi-Fi, which is sufficient for most everyday activities like browsing, streaming, and working from home. While this service is not part of your rent and is offered as a gift, it is an integral part of the KUMMUNI living experience.
