Moving out of your KUMMUNI apartment without completing the handover protocol is not allowed and can lead to serious consequences. Here’s what you need to know:
The Importance of the Handover Protocol #
The handover protocol is an essential part of the move-out process. It documents the condition of the apartment when you return it, ensuring that both you and KUMMUNI have a clear record of the property’s state. This protects both parties and helps avoid any disputes regarding damages or cleanliness.
Presence Required During Handover #
You are expected to be present during the handover process. This allows you to review the condition of the apartment with our agent, address any concerns, and sign the protocol to finalize the move-out.
What Happens If You Cannot Be Present? #
If you inform KUMMUNI officially that you intend to move out but are unable to be present for the handover, our colleagues will proceed to complete the handover protocol in your absence. However, please be aware that by not being present, you forfeit the right to dispute any inaccuracies in the handover protocol. Being present is your responsibility, and any issues arising from the condition of the apartment documented by our agent will be considered final.
