Importance of Hygiene at KUMMUNI #
At KUMMUNI, maintaining high standards of hygiene is one of our top priorities. We are committed to providing perfectly clean living spaces for all our tenants, and we expect everyone to uphold these important values and standards throughout their tenancy. To ensure that our hygiene standards are consistently met, we conduct regular inspections through our housekeeping department for several key reasons.
Reasons for Hygiene Inspections #
- Maintaining Hygiene Standards:
The primary reason we conduct hygiene inspections is to ensure that the cleanliness and hygiene levels in our properties are maintained at an acceptable standard. If you have received a hygiene inspection notice, it means that KUMMUNI has identified potential concerns regarding the cleanliness of your living space. - CoLiving Apartments:
Hygiene inspections are most commonly conducted in our CoLiving apartments. If a housemate or one of our team members reports a lack of hygiene, or if the apartment has a history of not being kept clean according to KUMMUNI’s standards, a notice will be sent out. This means that if you receive such a notice, it’s likely that your flatmates have also been informed. - Private Apartments:
Although less common, tenants in private apartments might also receive a hygiene inspection notice if there is a valid concern about extreme violations of our hygiene standards. This reflects our commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for all tenants.
What Happens During an Inspection? #
When our housekeeping team conducts a hygiene inspection, they carry out a detailed examination of the common areas in the apartment. Every aspect of the inspection is carefully documented, and any breaches of the contract related to hygiene will result in a formal warning. Tenants will be given a deadline to clean the apartment and bring it up to the required standard.
Consequences of Failing to Meet Hygiene Standards #
- Responsibility:
It is important to note that we do not accept excuses that it was a flatmate’s fault. All tenants are collectively responsible for maintaining cleanliness in shared spaces. - Lease Extension:
If we notice even one violation of our hygiene standards, your lease will not be extended. - Termination of Lease:
If you fail to cooperate and respect our hygiene standards, KUMMUNI’s legal team will initiate the process to terminate your lease contract in accordance with the law.
Important Note #
Please note that our hygiene inspections focus only on common areas, not private rooms. This ensures that personal privacy is respected while maintaining high standards in shared spaces.
